Ruth is continually deepening her understanding of anatomy and massage techniques through courses, supervision and massage practice days. Allowing her to extend her massage training with, deep tissue techniques, active stretches, myo-fascia release, joint mobilisation.
Over the years. Ruth has worked with a range of conditions, including: shoulder & neck pain, sport injuries, sciatic pain, multiple sclerosis, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid & osteo arthritis, fibromyalgia, stress & tension headaches.
Ruth has a background in dance, and practices as a community dance facilitator, specialising in dance in health. This includes working with people in rehabilitation, disability, the elderly and young people. Ruth believes movement is intrinsic to physical, mental and emotional well-being.
